Sustainability Officer

Full – Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, implement and manage environmental policies & management systems.
- Work with head office to update environmental procedures, manuals and record forms to continually improve the impact of the organisation on the environment.
- Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with Irish, European Legislation.
- Liaise with relevant bodies such as EPA, local authorities and public bodies. • Analyse and report environmental performance to management, promote and raise awareness, at all levels of the organisation, of the impact of emerging environmental issues
- Preparing reports for the company, environmental agencies and government bodies.
- Ideally have knowledge or experience in the operation of a waste water treatment plant. Training will be provided.
- Run the onsite waste water treatment plant which also involves some physical labour to ensure clean & efficient plant.
- Complete Daily paperwork for the WWTP
The Candidate:
Primary degree subjects such as environmental and earth sciences, environmental engineering, or relevant field. Postgraduate degrees are increasingly required as specialisation in particular fields is advantageous.
Maintenance Fitter

Key Responsibilities:
· Observe all on site and legislative rules and regulations in terms of Health & Safety, food safety and environmental.
· Ensure all maintenance is carried out under GMP conditions.
· Carry out mechanical process awareness, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
· Complete mechanical repairs to food processing, handling and packaging equipment.
· Technical support for plant facilities and services including compressed air, steam, refrigeration and effluent plant.
· Carry out and record planned maintenance routines.
· Carry out and record preventive maintenance.
· Control of contractors and acting as liaison person when requires
The Candidate:
- Trade qualified fitter
- 12 month+ experience with Mechanical maintenance within an automated manufacturing environment, ideally with some meat/food experience.
- Strong trouble shooting and diagnostics skills
- Used to working in a fast paced high volume environment
