NPD Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
- Influence product set up and production decision making to ensure food safety and quality needs of the business are being met.
- Implement and maintain detailed specifications and quality standards for all finished products.
- Detailed knowledge and ownership of various software programmes used by customers required.
- Comply with approval process for external packaging and ingredient suppliers in line with group protocols.
- Manage queries from customers and/or complaints for external ingredient and packaging suppliers in conjunction with QA Team and explore root cause analysis to put sustainable corrective actions in place.
- Ensure group & audit required documentation is kept up to date at all times.
- Ensure all NPD procedures, process documentation and systems in use all comply with customer and best practice requirements.
- Participate in required site audits e.g. external certification, DAFM audits, customer food safety and quality audits.
- Oversee the ingredient / label and packaging stocks in line with Stores & marketing personnel.
- Recognise and implement opportunities for Technical / Quality improvement in both manufacturing and business processes, in the Continuous Improvement ethos.
The Candidate:
- B.Sc. Food Technology/Food Science/Nutritional Science
- Culinary knowledge and the ability to discern food trends.
- Commercial aptitude and awareness.
- Direct meat experience would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of food/meat processing technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and induction process. This involves advertising, liaising with agencies and candidates, setting up of interviews, reference checking and coordinating inductions.
- Employee file creation and maintenance.
- Update monthly HR metrics.
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Employee Relations – conduct investigations, disciplinary hearings, & grievance hearings, in line with Company policy. Strong experience with exposure to handling ER cases at all levels.
- Ensure compliance to Employment Law, i.e. work permits etc.
- Handle confidential information in line with data protection requirements and company policies.
- Drive key employee engagement initiatives.
The Candidate:
- Graduate education within a business/HR discipline
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a HR role

Shipping/Transport Admin

Key Responsibilities:
· Processing export and domestic shipping documentation on a daily basis
· Managing internal and external cold store movements
· Liaising with account managers and haulage agents on logistical matters
· Setting high standards of customer service over the phone and across the counter
· Complete customs paperwork
· Holiday cover for as required for evening shift shipping documentation and various administrative functions.
Comply with all relevant standard operating procedures.
The Candidate:
· Ideally coming from a manufacturing, FMCG or logistics background
· Ideally have one years’ experience in a busy administration role and having either despatch or shipping experience would be an advantage, however not essential
· Strong communication skills as you will be liaising with a broad range of internal departments and service providers (finance, despatch, hauliers, cold stores, sales etc.)
· Have a flexible approach, an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a dynamic admin/finance team
· Excellent attention to detail, be efficient, highly organised and ability to meet deadlines.
· Willingness to develop new skills and learn new roles if opportunities arise.
· Knowledge of Navision would be an advantage but not essential.
· French and/or German would be an advantage but not essential.
Quality Assurance
/Technical Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring product, processes, food safety and quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.
- Carry out product inspections on all incoming product and ensure all produce meets the required specification for weight, temperature, etc.
- Communicate product quality with suppliers and site management
- Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and Hygiene SOP’s
- Monitoring and reporting of quality standards to site management
- Liaise with production and planning with regards to customer requirements
- Control of non-conforming product, including placing on hold, agreement of percentage rejection, review and release as appropriate
- Responsible for performing pre-op cleaning verification and inspection.
- Educating employees on food safety standards and ensuring best practice
- Responsible for the correct recording, reporting and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation.
- Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains and customer samples when directed.
- Manage queries or complaints from customers
- Deal with non-conformances (internal and external) and drive root cause analysis to put sustainable corrective actions.

Environmental
&
Sustainability Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, implement and manage environmental policies & management systems.
- Work with head office to update environmental procedures, manuals and record forms to continually improve the impact of the organisation on the environment.
- Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with Irish, European Legislation.
- Liaise with relevant bodies such as EPA, local authorities and public bodies. • Analyse and report environmental performance to management, promote and raise awareness, at all levels of the organisation, of the impact of emerging environmental issues
- Preparing reports for the company, environmental agencies and government bodies.
- Ideally have knowledge or experience in the operation of a waste water treatment plant. Training will be provided.
- Run the onsite waste water treatment plant which also involves some physical labour to ensure clean & efficient plant.
- Complete Daily paperwork for the WWTP
The Candidate:
Primary degree subjects such as environmental and earth sciences, environmental engineering, or relevant field. Postgraduate degrees are increasingly required as specialisation in particular fields is advantageous.
Marketing Communications Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of marketing and communications plan developed in conjunction with senior management and sales departments focusing on meeting organisational objectives and delivering sales targets.
- Aid in the development, execution and maintenance of an online corporate and brand marketing strategy, incorporating interactive and social media where appropriate.
- Assistant in the perpetration of professional presentations / proposals / Brochures that meet the needs and objectives of individual projects.
- Coordinate the appearance and manage the development of print and promotional materials
- Assist in the co-ordination and participation in trade shows, conferences and key events
- Assist in the development and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of market trends, consumer issues, trade customer requirements and competitor activities within the meat industry
- Build strong customer relationships internally and externally and facilitate communications
- Work closely with senior management on specific projects as required

The Candidate:
- Experience working within a marketing environment in the FMCG industry desirable but not essential

Maintenance Fitter

Key Responsibilities:
· Observe all on site and legislative rules and regulations in terms of Health & Safety, food safety and environmental.
· Ensure all maintenance is carried out under GMP conditions.
· Carry out mechanical process awareness, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
· Complete mechanical repairs to food processing, handling and packaging equipment.
· Technical support for plant facilities and services including compressed air, steam, refrigeration and effluent plant.
· Carry out and record planned maintenance routines.
· Carry out and record preventive maintenance.
· Control of contractors and acting as liaison person when requires
The Candidate:
- Trade qualified fitter
- 12 month+ experience with Mechanical maintenance within an automated manufacturing environment, ideally with some meat/food experience.
- Strong trouble shooting and diagnostics skills
- Used to working in a fast paced high volume environment
